- The objective of this study is to develop low carbon, climateresilient, and nature-based solutions (NBS)- informed neighborhood developmentplans, and to prepare a short list of priority investments for the neighborhoods of Jacques Opangault inBrazzaville and Tchiniambi 2 in Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo. Thisstudy will comprise of three tasks: (1) diagnostic and collection ofenvironmental, climate, and socio-economic data; (2) development of low-carbonand climate resilient NBS-informed neighborhood development plans and short list ofpriority investments; and an (3) early-stage assessment of priority investmentsidentified, including high level environmental and social screenings, designguidance and cost estimates note, and community-based operations and managementstrategies.This studywill complement other, ongoing, technical studies in both Brazzaville andPointe-Noire, aiming at integrating NBS and low carbon and climate resilienturban development. The objective of these studies is to contribute to thepreparation and implementation of the Strengthening Urban Resilience Project(P179190).
