Tenders are invited for One Health Consultant - September 2023 until February 2024 WCS is looking for a consultant who has : · Expertise in the field of animal health and zoonotic diseases · Understanding of molecular diagnostic work. · Proven expertise in Biomeme development and lab work · An excellent knowledge of Central Africa and Congo is an asset · Knowledge of conducting an epidemiological field study · Good communication and coordination skills between different actors · Perfect command of French and English Deliverables and Schedule The different deliverables are: · Zoonoses bibliographic review and leaflet accessible to the general public, French · Scientific publication on the study of Human/Bat interactions - draft for submission to potential journals. · Training materials for field teams for collecting bat samples, French · Mapping of existing environmental data collection activities (climate, land use, human habitation patterns) to maximize their application to biological sample collection efforts in Brazzaville and Ouesso · Study plan for the continuation of human and bat monitoring activities within the framework of SWM-OH.
